With this tool “Workflow Plus Lines View”, a SQL database view will be created for all workflow request s that are using this functionality.
The lines functionality within Synergy allows a data grid of fields to be used within a workflow request. An example could be the creation of an expense report with fields such as:
- Type of expense
- Date of expense
- Dollar amount
- To be reimbursed (Yes / No)
- Account
- Notes
Many Synergy users are moving away from the “Multiple Type” workflows to requests using “Lines” because of the difficulty in making changes within the requests. If you are not familiar with the “Lines” function in Synergy, look for more information on the Brochures and Presentation section.
