Using the Account Import Wizard in ESE (Customers / Entry / Accounts Import Wizard), you may receive an error message “Object reference not set to an instance of an object”
The cause of this error may be that you are trying to import new accounts, however required fields are blank and Synergy doesn’t what to do.
If you are using the Excel Spreadsheet example, which was posted a few weeks ago for downloading on our site, you will see the Optional and Required fields for an import to occur.
A common error is to make sure that every contact must be linked to an Account (Account Name or Account Code) field.
Please Note that Person: Type Accounts cannot be imported using the wizard. These Types include:
Type: Person Prospects
Type: Person Customers
Type: Person Suppliers
