On the Sales Opportunity Card, there is an option to include a section called “Competition.” This field will help you analyze and possibly change your sales strategy when dealing with this Opportunity.
Before you can select a Competitor, they must be stored in Synergy. Many of our customers use the Customer Type of Suppliers or Associates when creating their Account Card record.
You may now enter any Strengths or Weaknesses regarding this competitor (and others) and this specific Opportunity.
When analyzing your win / loss ratios, you may examine who your competition has been and the reasoning behind your New or Lost Customer Opportunity.
