We used to use standard workflow request types (To Do – Request Type 0 & To Do with Reply – Request Type 1) with our customers.  Recently we are now suggesting that users create copies of these standard requests and modify them for daily use with your employees.

The reasoning for our change is two-fold:

1.  Exact uses these two requests for other actions, such as sending out Excel spreadsheets for Account or Human Resource exports.

2.  Exact has added fields to these standard requests and in many cases – they seem to busy for users.

Exact is recommending that no changes be made to these two standard requests, so we are suggesting that you cCreate requests with the information that will be beneficial to your employees.  It will make it easier for them to be more comfortable with workflows.
