Synergy Enterprise provides an Import Wizard for Accounts that allow the use of either CSV, TXT or Excel files. When an import of Accounts is being made, special characters (such as used in International Account Names or Contacts) may import into Synergy, but may result in strange characters in the field.
This is an issue when importing using a CSV file format. Unicode Character are not supported with this format.
The solution in importing Accounts is to use an Excel spreadsheet and these characters will be properly inputted. If you wish to import using a CSV file, simply open it in Microsoft Excel and save it as an Excel *.xls format.
