Within Synergy Enterprise, you have the functionality to use Sales Opportunities that we have discussed in previous Tips of the Day.
On the Sales Opportunity Card, there is an option to include the “General” section called “Reasons Lost.” This field will help you analyze and possibly change your sales strategy when dealing with Accounts.
When you lose an Opportunity, this data is stored in Synergy Enterprise. You may enter the reason that this specific Opportunity has been lost.
When analyzing your win / loss ratios, you may examine your wins and loses and the reasoning behind these Opportunities.
New Reason Lost Codes / descriptions can be found in the path: Customers / Setup / Opportunity Management / Reasons Lost.
Using standard ESE Account or Opportunity search or standard ESE Account or Opportunity Pivot Analysis functions can help you review the data in your database.
