Saw this error message and possible resolution on Exact’s website today. I am working with a client on importing accounts and thought that this tip could be very applicable to many of our customers.
When importing New Accounts into ESE, we recommend using an Excel Spreadsheet template. We have created one, showing possible values, Required / Optional fields and data type / size of field.
One Possible Resolution:
One of the Synergy accounts being merged may have an invalid Classification or Source code. Make sure that you use the field browser to select a valid Classification / Source code and save the change. If you are importing from Excel, do a sort of these fields and make sure that there are no values in the spreadsheet that are not in Synergy Enterprise.
