User access is controlled by Security Levels, as well as Roles, Function Rights and Ownership of Documents & Requests.  The levels include:

“0”  –  “All”
There are no restrictions to Users of Synergy Enterprise.  Everyone can view this information, even if they are the general public and you have opened up access to them.

“1”  –  “Customers”
All Resources, Customers and Resellers will have access to this information.  Very useful when opening up portals to allow the downloading of sales brochures, service manuals and other similar tasks.

“2”  –  “Partners”
All Resources and Resellers will have access to this information.  Very useful when opening up portals to allow the downloading of sales brochures, service manuals, support notes and other similar tasks.

“3”  –  Specific Customer
All Resources and the specific Customer will have access to this information.  This means that the Account must be identified in the document or request.  The Reseller linked to the Account (via the Account Card) will also have access.

“4”  –  Specific Reseller
All Resources and the specific Reseller will have access to this information.  This means that the Reseller must be identified in the document or request.

“5”  –  “9”  – NOT USED

“10”  –  “98”  –  Internal
Al Resources with a similar or greater security level will have access to this information.  In a request, the current Actor will have access, as well as the Resource  that is linked to the request.

“99”  –  Creator
In a request, the current Actor will have access to the request.  Also the creator of the request or information can access.

“100”  –  Resource Specific
There are five options for this security level:
*  The Creator or Owner of the information may view this information.
*  The Resource that is linked to the information can view.
*  The Manager that is linked to this Resource
*  Any Resource (in the Same Division) that have HR Roles of either “11” or “12”
*  All Resources that have been provided the viewing / editing rights when creating (and / or) editing documents.  This is done through document setup of the specific document types (Share Tab).

“101”  –  Project Specific
There are three options for this security level:
*  The Creator or Owner of the information may view this information.
*  Members of the Project that is linked to the information can view.
*  All Resources that have been provided the viewing / editing rights when creating (and / or) editing documents.  This is done through document setup of the specific document types (Share Tab).

Please Note:  Users with Corporate Role of Administrator can view all information with the exception of requests with the “Private” option selected.
