Whenever I build Start Pages or use in Portals, I try to build them around specific colors which may be used on an Accounts public website.

Being color blind, it makes it very difficult to guess the color and select it from the many choices in a color chart.  When I want to find out the color of a background or text, I use a product called Pixie, which is from a company – Nattyware (www.nattyware.com).  It is a free program and I have used it for many years.

To use, run the program and point to a color with the arrow.  Instantly, the program will display the hex, RGB, HTML, CMYK and HSV values of that color.

This is a free program, no gimmicks that I have found in over 10 years of using it.  Simple to install and I have had no support issues.  Simple, but to the point.
