This is a question that Account Managers should have information that is easily available. Using a Free Date Field on the Account Card, each and every time some notes are added via a workflow request (possibly a single “Notes”), the date field on the Account Card would be modified by this activity.
This function is new functionality with our CRM EventPak. SSRS Reports can be generated based upon the Last Contact Date, and workflow requests created for an Account Manager or Customer Service staff member when the Last Contact Date is over your business rules.
You may also wish to do this by the Contact Person. However in this case, you may also want a user defined field to designate this contact person as one to be monitored. If you have contacts for Accounts Receivable or other functions that are in the database, but are not contacted frequently, you do not want your workflow or SSRS report to display this data.
